Answers to common questions about working together and what to expect.
Are the requests actually unlimited?
Yes, kind of. Kanvas doesn’t charge hourly or per project. Instead, you’ll get access to your dashboard to add as many requests as you’d like. Depending on your plan, we’ll work through them in your preferred order, one at a time.
Are the revisions really unlimited also?
Of course! You can revise any design as long as you have an active Pro or Max membership.
How do I request designs?
You're offered a ton of flexibility when requesting designs using the dashboard in your client portal. Some common ways clients request designs are directly via sharing Google Docs or wireframes or even recording a brief Loom video (for those who prefer not to write their briefs out). If it can be linked in your client dashboard, it's fair game.
How long to fulfill a request?
I'll deliver the first version of each design request within 48 hours (sometimes faster, depending on the asset). I’ll address revisions within 24 hours. I don’t limit how big or small a task has to be. That said, if it’s a more significant task, your first update will likely be more bite-sized, ensuring you always have something exciting to review. It may take a few updates and feedback cycles until the task is marked “Done.”
How long does a typical website project take?
Most projects take 4 to 8 weeks, depending on scope, revisions, and how quickly feedback is provided.
How much can be accomplish in one month?
Total output in a given month depends on the detail level of the requests you submit. For example, suppose you need a website developed and already have a creative brief, mood board/style references, wireframes, UI, and copy written. In that case, you can expect for work to start immediately after reviewing all the details. If you do not have these items, we can work together to define and create them! However, this means getting a polished end product will take longer.
How much will I be involved in the process?
You're involved in every key step through reviews and feedback rounds to ensure the project stays aligned.
Can you work with my existing brand identity?
Of course. We can build on what you already have.
Who pays for web hosting
Typically, you'll handle the costs for hosting directly, and you can choose either Webflow or Framer for your website's platform. I recommend reviewing the pricing options for both to see which best suits your needs. I'll develop everything for your project on my own Webflow or Framer account. Once everything's ready, I'll transfer it to your account for the launch.
Why isn’t Kanvas open on Fridays?
I’m trying out a 32-hour, 4-day workweek to create better balance and protect my energy. That extra day gives me time to reset, spend time with my family, and return to work feeling more focused and creative.
What about an urgent request for Friday?
To guarantee that your request is ready by Friday, please remember to submit it no later than Tuesday. This timeline is necessary to allow us sufficient time for processing. Additionally, prioritize your request by placing it at the top of your "To Do" queue in your client dashboard. Be aware that the delivery time for your request may vary based on its complexity.
Do you offer support after the website is live?
Yes, as long as you have an active Pro or Max plan, you will recieve support.
What are your working hours and holiday Policy?
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm EST. I work on a four-day schedule with a focused, efficient rhythm to support quick turnarounds and smooth project delivery. That doesn’t mean long hours — I prioritize balance, rest, and staying sharp. Flexible hours give me space to recharge while keeping productivity high. Public Holidays: Public holidays are observed. If one falls on a weekend, I’ll take the following Monday off. All project timelines are managed accordingly to ensure everything stays on track before and after any break. Seasonal Breaks: I take time off during the last two weeks of December to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s. I’ll always give you a heads-up on the exact dates, and you’ll be credited for any downtime during that period.
Are there any refunds?
Unfortunately, I don’t offer partial refunds once a membership has been used. Due to the creative time and energy involved in delivering high-quality work, it’s important for me to honor that commitment. However, if your membership hasn’t been used at all, I’m happy to offer a full refund.
